'OIKOS'

Three weeks ago group one started the module 'Focus on Reproduction'.  Last Monday we studied the significance of 'OIKOS'OIKOS; the basic unit of society in most Greek city-states.

The Lord calls us to penetrate our 'OIKOS' (household networks) in urban, cross-cultural evangelism.  Through testifying the Gospel in our webs of common kinship relationships, friendships, and associations we can spread and win others in our urban cities.

The students were marveled to learn how many 'OIKOS' they are a part of; at work, school, circle of friends, relatives, relatives friends, church, clubs, etc.

May ended with a refreshing new look at the Kingdom of God

Group 1
'THE KINGDOM OF GOD' module ended on the 23 of May and was one of the most spectacular modules we have studied to date.

In eight lessons, this module gave us a bird’s eye view of the Reign of God, from a discussion how God’s absolute sovereignty and Lordship of God was defied by the devil and the first human pair to the inauguration of God’s reign in Jesus Christ and his incarnation. Now that our Lord Jesus has died, risen, and ascended into heaven, the Kingdom of God is being proclaimed throughout the world by his Church. God’s reign will soon be consummated at the Second Coming of Jesus, where death, disease, and all evil will be put down, all heaven and earth will be renewed, and God will become All-in-all.

The students express a renewed awareness of the authority of THE KINGDOM OF GOD and how necessary it is for the church to take ownership of and proclaim the KINGDOM OF GOD and the LORDSHIP OF JESUS CHRIST.
